Saint Pantaenus of Alexandria
c. 120 – 200 · Ante-Nicene theologians · Alexandrian
Stoic philosopher converted to Christianity; first known head of the catechetical school of Alexandria; teacher of St Clement of Alexandria. According to Eusebius, he travelled as a missionary as far as India. His writings are lost.
