TextA−AA+Bookmarks0← JobChapter 18Job 18:1¹ Then Bildad the Shuhite answered and said,Job 18:1Job 18:2² How long wilt thou continue?Job 18:2Job 18:3³ For wherefore have we been silent before thee like brutes?Job 18:3Job 18:4⁴ Anger has possessed thee:Job 18:4Job 18:5⁵ But the light of the ungodly shall be quenched,Job 18:5Job 18:6⁶ His light [shall be] darkness in [his] habitation,Job 18:6Job 18:7⁷ Let the meanest of men spoil his goods,Job 18:7Job 18:8⁸ His foot also has been caught in a snare,Job 18:8Job 18:9⁹ And let snares come upon him:Job 18:9Job 18:10¹⁰ His snare is hidden in the earth,Job 18:10Job 18:11¹¹ Let pains destroy him round about,Job 18:11Job 18:12¹² [Vex him] with distressing hunger:Job 18:12Job 18:13¹³ Let the soles of his feet be devoured:Job 18:13Job 18:14¹⁴ And let health be utterly banished from his tabernacle,Job 18:14Job 18:15¹⁵ It shall dwell in his tabernacle in his night:Job 18:15Job 18:16¹⁶ His roots shall be dried up from beneath,Job 18:16Job 18:17¹⁷ Let his memorial perish out of the earth,Job 18:17Job 18:18¹⁸ Let [one] drive him from light into darkness.Job 18:18Job 18:19¹⁹ He shall not be known among his people,Job 18:19Job 18:20²⁰ But strangers shall dwell in his possessions:Job 18:20Job 18:21²¹ These are the houses of the unrighteous,Job 18:21← Chapter 17Chapter 19 →
