Chapter 26

¹ But Job answered and said,

Job 26:1

² To whom dost thou attach thyself, or whom art thou going to assist?

Job 26:2

³ To whom hast thou given counsel? is it not to him who has all wisdom?

Job 26:3

⁴ To whom hast thou uttered words?

Job 26:4

⁵ Shall giants be born

Job 26:5

⁶ Hell is naked before him,

Job 26:6

⁷ He stretches out the north wind upon nothing,

Job 26:7

⁸ Binding water in his clouds,

Job 26:8

⁹ He keeps back the face of his throne,

Job 26:9

¹⁰ He has encompassed the face of the water by an appointed ordinance,

Job 26:10

¹¹ The pillars of heaven are prostrate

Job 26:11

¹² He has calmed the sea with [his] might,

Job 26:12

¹³ And the barriers of heaven fear him,

Job 26:13

¹⁴ Behold, these are parts of his way;
