Chapter 32

¹ And his three friends also ceased any longer to answer Job:

Job 32:1

² Then Elihu the son of Barachel, the Buzite,

Job 32:2

³ And he was also very angry with [his] three friends,

Job 32:3

⁴ But Elihu had forborne to give an answer to Job,

Job 32:4

⁵ And Elihu saw that there was no answer

Job 32:5

⁶ And Elihu the Buzite the son of Barachel answered and said,

Job 32:6

⁷ And I said, It is not time that speaks,

Job 32:7

⁸ But there is a spirit in mortals;

Job 32:8

⁹ The long-lived are not wise [as such];

Job 32:9

¹⁰ Wherefore I said, Hear me,

Job 32:10

¹¹ Hearken to my words; for I will speak in your hearing,

Job 32:11

¹² And I shall understand as far as you;

Job 32:12

¹³ Lest ye should say, We have found that we have added wisdom to the Lord.

Job 32:13

¹⁴ And ye have commissioned a man to speak such words.

Job 32:14

¹⁵ They were afraid, they answered no longer;

Job 32:15

¹⁶ I waited (for I had not spoken),

Job 32:16

¹⁷ And Elihu continued and said,

Job 32:17

¹⁸ for I am full of words,

Job 32:18

¹⁹ And my belly is as a skin of sweet wine bound up [and] ready to burst;

Job 32:19

²⁰ I will speak, that I may open my lips and relieve myself.

Job 32:20

²¹ For truly I will not be awed because of man,

Job 32:21

²² For I know not how to respect persons:
