Ps 149:1

² Let Israel rejoice in him that made him;

Ps 149:2

³ Let them praise his name in the dance:

Ps 149:3

⁴ For the Lord takes pleasure in his people;

Ps 149:4

⁵ The saints shall rejoice in glory;

Ps 149:5

⁶ The high praises of God shall be in their throat,

Ps 149:6

⁷ To execute vengeance on the nations,

Ps 149:7

⁸ To bind their kings with fetters,

Ps 149:8

⁹ To execute on them the judgment written:
