Chapter 18

Psalms · King David

¹ For the end, a Psalm of David.

Ps 18:1

² The heavens declare the glory of God;

Ps 18:2

³ Day to day utters speech,

Ps 18:3

⁴ There are no speeches or words,

Ps 18:4

⁵ Their voice is gone out into all the earth,

Ps 18:5

⁶ In the sun he has set his tabernacle;

Ps 18:6

⁷ His going forth is from the extremity of heaven,

Ps 18:7

⁸ The law of the Lord is perfect, converting souls:

Ps 18:8

⁹ The ordinances of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart:

Ps 18:9

¹⁰ The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever and ever:

Ps 18:10

¹¹ To be desired more than gold, and much precious stone:

Ps 18:11

¹² For thy servant keeps to them:

Ps 18:12

¹³ Who will understand [his] transgressions?

Ps 18:13

¹⁴ And spare thy servant [the attack] of strangers:

Ps 18:14

¹⁵ So shall the sayings of my mouth,
