Chapter 24

¹ A Psalm of David.

Ps 24:1

² O my God, I have trusted in thee: let me not be confounded,

Ps 24:2

³ For none of them that wait on thee shall in anywise be ashamed:

Ps 24:3

⁴ Show me thy ways, O Lord;

Ps 24:4

⁵ Lead me in thy truth, and teach me:

Ps 24:5

⁶ Remember thy compassions, O Lord,

Ps 24:6

⁷ Remember not the sins of my youth, nor [my sins] of ignorance:

Ps 24:7

⁸ Good and upright is the Lord:

Ps 24:8

⁹ The meek will he guide in judgment:

Ps 24:9

¹⁰ All the ways of the Lord are mercy and truth

Ps 24:10

¹¹ For thy name’s sake, O Lord,

Ps 24:11

¹² Who is the man that fears the Lord?

Ps 24:12

¹³ His soul shall dwell in prosperity;

Ps 24:13

¹⁴ The Lord is the strength of them that fear him;

Ps 24:14

¹⁵ Mine eyes are continually to the Lord;

Ps 24:15

¹⁶ Look upon me, and have mercy upon me;

Ps 24:16

¹⁷ The afflictions of my heart have been multiplied;

Ps 24:17

¹⁸ Look upon mine affliction and my trouble;

Ps 24:18

¹⁹ Look upon mine enemies; for they have been multiplied;

Ps 24:19

²⁰ Keep my soul, and deliver me:

Ps 24:20

²¹ The harmless and upright joined themselves to me:

Ps 24:21

²² Deliver Israel, O God,
