Chapter 32

¹ [A Psalm] of David.

Ps 32:1

² Praise the Lord on the harp;

Ps 32:2

³ Sing to him a new song;

Ps 32:3

⁴ For the word of the Lord is right;

Ps 32:4

⁵ He loves mercy and judgment;

Ps 32:5

⁶ By the word of the Lord the heavens were established;

Ps 32:6

⁷ Who gathers the waters of the sea as [in] a bottle;

Ps 32:7

⁸ Let all the earth fear the Lord;

Ps 32:8

⁹ For he spoke, and they were made;

Ps 32:9

¹⁰ The Lord frustrates the counsels of the nations;

Ps 32:10

¹¹ But the counsel of the Lord endures forever,

Ps 32:11

¹² Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord;

Ps 32:12

¹³ The Lord looks out of heaven;

Ps 32:13

¹⁴ He looks from his prepared habitation

Ps 32:14

¹⁵ Who fashioned their hearts alone;

Ps 32:15

¹⁶ A king is not saved by reason of a great host;

Ps 32:16

¹⁷ A horse is vain for safety;

Ps 32:17

¹⁸ Behold, the eyes of the Lord are on them that fear him,

Ps 32:18

¹⁹ To deliver their souls from death,

Ps 32:19

²⁰ Our soul waits on the Lord;

Ps 32:20

²¹ For our heart shall rejoice in him,

Ps 32:21

²² Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us,

Ps 32:22
