Ps 82:1

² O God, who shall be compared to thee?

³ For behold, thine enemies have made a noise;

Ps 82:3

⁴ Against thy people they have craftily imagined a device,

Ps 82:4

⁵ They have said, Come, and let us utterly destroy them out of the nation;

Ps 82:5

⁶ For they have taken counsel together with one consent:

Ps 82:6

⁷ Even the tents of the Edomites, and the Ishmaelites;

Ps 82:7

⁸ Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek;

Ps 82:8

⁹ Yea, Asshur too is come with them:

Ps 82:9

¹⁰ Do thou to them as to Midian, and to Sisera;

Ps 82:10

¹¹ They were utterly destroyed at En-dor:

Ps 82:11

¹² Make their princes as Oreb and Zeeb,

Ps 82:12

¹³ Who said, Let us take to ourselves the altar of God as an inheritance.

Ps 82:13

¹⁴ O my God, make them as a wheel;

Ps 82:14

¹⁵ As fire which shall burn up a wood,

Ps 82:15

¹⁶ So shalt thou persecute them with thy tempest,

Ps 82:16

¹⁷ Fill their faces with dishonor;

Ps 82:17

¹⁸ Let them be ashamed and troubled for evermore;

Ps 82:18

¹⁹ And let them know that thy name is Lord;

Ps 82:19
