Sir 43:4

⁵ Great is the Lord that made it;

Sir 43:5

⁶ He made the moon also to serve in her season

Sir 43:6

⁷ From the moon is the sign of feasts, a light that decreaseth in her perfection.

²³ By his counsel he appeaseth the deep,

Sir 43:23

²⁴ They that sail on the sea tell of the danger thereof;

Sir 43:24

²⁵ For therein be strange and wondrous works,

Sir 43:25

²⁶ By him the end of them hath prosperous success,

Sir 43:26

²⁷ We may speak much, and yet come short;

Sir 43:27

²⁸ How shall we be able to magnify him?

Sir 43:28

²⁹ The Lord is terrible and very great,

Sir 43:29

³⁰ When ye glorify the Lord, exalt him as much as ye can;

Sir 43:30

³¹ Who hath seen him, that he might tell us?

Sir 43:31

³² There are yet hidden greater things than these be,

Sir 43:32

³³ For the Lord hath made all things;

Sir 43:33
