TextA−AA+Bookmarks0← JobChapter 37Job 37:1¹ At this also my heart is troubled,Job 37:1Job 37:2² Hear thou a report by the anger of the Lord’s wrath,Job 37:2Job 37:3³ His dominion is under the whole heaven,Job 37:3Job 37:4⁴ After him shall be a cry with a [loud] voice;Job 37:4Job 37:5⁵ The Mighty One shall thunder wonderfully with his voice:Job 37:5Job 37:6⁶ Commanding the snow, Be thou upon the earth,Job 37:6Job 37:7⁷ He seals up the hand of every man,Job 37:7Job 37:8⁸ And the wild beasts come in under the covert,Job 37:8Job 37:9⁹ Troubles come on out of the secret chambers,Job 37:9Job 37:10¹⁰ And from the breath of the Mighty One he will send frost;Job 37:10Job 37:11¹¹ And [if] a cloud obscures [what is] precious [to him],Job 37:11Job 37:12¹² And he will carry round the encircling [clouds] by his governance, to [perform] their works:Job 37:12Job 37:13¹³ This has been appointed by him on the earth,Job 37:13Job 37:14¹⁴ Hearken to this, O Job: stand still,Job 37:14Job 37:15¹⁵ We know that God has disposed his works,Job 37:15Job 37:16¹⁶ And he knows the divisions of the clouds,Job 37:16Job 37:17¹⁷ But thy robe is warm,Job 37:17Job 37:18¹⁸ Wilt thou establish with him [foundations] for the ancient [heavens?]Job 37:18Job 37:19¹⁹ Wherefore teach me, what shall we say to him?Job 37:19Job 37:20²⁰ Have I a book or a scribe by me,Job 37:20Job 37:21²¹ But the light is not visible to all:Job 37:21Job 37:22²² From the north [come] the clouds shining like gold:Job 37:22Job 37:23²³ And we do not find another his equal in strength:Job 37:23Job 37:24²⁴ Wherefore men shall fear him;Job 37:24← Chapter 36Chapter 38 →
