TextA−AA+Bookmarks0← JobChapter 41Job 41:1¹ Hast thou not seen him?Job 41:1Job 41:2² Dost thou not fear because preparation has been made by me?Job 41:2Job 41:3³ Or who will resist me, and abide,Job 41:3Job 41:4⁴ I will not be silent because of him:Job 41:4Job 41:5⁵ Who will open the face of his garment?Job 41:5Job 41:6⁶ Who will open the doors of his face?Job 41:6Job 41:7⁷ His innards are [as] brazen plates,Job 41:7Job 41:8⁸ One [part] cleaves fast to another,Job 41:8Job 41:9⁹ They will remain united each to the other:Job 41:9Job 41:10¹⁰ At his sneezing a light shines,Job 41:10Job 41:11¹¹ Out of his mouth proceed as it were burning lamps,Job 41:11Job 41:12¹² Out of his nostrils proceeds smoke of a furnaceJob 41:12Job 41:13¹³ His breath is [as] live coals,Job 41:13Job 41:14¹⁴ And power is lodged in his neck,Job 41:14Job 41:15¹⁵ The flesh also of his body is joined together:Job 41:15Job 41:16¹⁶ His heart is firm as a stone,Job 41:16Job 41:17¹⁷ And when he turns, [he is] a terror to the four-footed wild beastsJob 41:17Job 41:18¹⁸ If spears should come against him, [men] will effect nothing,Job 41:18Job 41:19¹⁹ For he considers iron as chaff,Job 41:19Job 41:20²⁰ The bow of brass shall not wound him,Job 41:20Job 41:21²¹ Mauls are counted as stubble;Job 41:21Job 41:22²² His lair is [formed of] sharp points;Job 41:22Job 41:23²³ He makes the deep boil like a brazen caldron;Job 41:23Job 41:24²⁴ And the lowest part of the deep as a captive:Job 41:24Job 41:25²⁵ There is nothing upon the earth like to him,Job 41:25Job 41:26²⁶ He beholds every high thing:Job 41:26← Chapter 40Chapter 42 →
