Chapter 104

¹ Alleluia.

Ps 104:1

² Sing to him, yea, sing praises to him:

Ps 104:2

³ Glory in his holy name:

Ps 104:3

⁴ Seek ye the Lord, and be strengthened;

Ps 104:4

⁵ Remember his wonderful works that he has done;

Ps 104:5

⁶ [Ye] seed of Abraham, his servants,

Ps 104:6

⁷ He is the Lord our God;

Ps 104:7

⁸ He has remembered his covenant forever,

Ps 104:8

⁹ Which he established as a covenant to Abraham,

Ps 104:9

¹⁰ And he established it to Jacob for an ordinance,

Ps 104:10

¹¹ Saying, To thee will I give the land of Canaan,

Ps 104:11

¹² When they were few in number,

Ps 104:12

¹³ And they went from nation to nation,

Ps 104:13

¹⁴ He suffered no man to wrong them;

Ps 104:14

¹⁵ [Saying], Touch not my anointed ones;

Ps 104:15

¹⁶ Moreover he called for a famine upon the land;

Ps 104:16

¹⁷ He sent a man before them;

Ps 104:17

¹⁸ They hurt his feet with fetters;

Ps 104:18

¹⁹ Until the time that his cause came on;

Ps 104:19

²⁰ The king sent and loosed him;

Ps 104:20

²¹ He made him Lord over his house,

Ps 104:21

²² To chastise his rulers at his pleasure,

Ps 104:22

²³ Israel also came into Egypt,

Ps 104:23

²⁴ And he increased his people greatly,

Ps 104:24

²⁵ And he turned their heart to hate his people,

Ps 104:25

²⁶ He sent forth Moses his servant,

Ps 104:26

²⁷ He established among them his signs,

Ps 104:27

²⁸ He sent forth darkness, and made it dark;

Ps 104:28

²⁹ He turned their waters into blood,

Ps 104:29

³⁰ Their land produced frogs abundantly,

Ps 104:30

³¹ He spoke, and the dog fly came,

Ps 104:31

³² He turned their rain into hail,

Ps 104:32

³³ And he smote their vines and their fig trees;

Ps 104:33

³⁴ He spoke, and the locust came,

Ps 104:34

³⁵ And devoured all the grass in their land,

Ps 104:35

³⁶ He smote also every firstborn of their land,

Ps 104:36

³⁷ And he brought them out with silver and gold;

Ps 104:37

³⁸ Egypt rejoiced at their departing;

Ps 104:38

³⁹ He spread out a cloud for a covering to them,

Ps 104:39

⁴⁰ They asked, and the quail came,

Ps 104:40

⁴¹ He clove the rock, and the waters flowed;

Ps 104:41

⁴² For he remembered his holy word,

Ps 104:42

⁴³ And he brought out his people with exultation,

Ps 104:43

⁴⁴ And gave them the lands of the heathen;

Ps 104:44

⁴⁵ That they might keep his ordinances,
