Psalms · King David

¹ Alleluia.

Ps 113:1

² Judea became his sanctuary,

Ps 113:2

³ The sea saw and fled:

Ps 113:3

⁴ The mountains skipped like rams,

Ps 113:4

⁵ What [ailed] thee, O sea, that thou fleddest?

Ps 113:5

⁶ [Ye] mountains, that ye skipped like rams,

Ps 113:6

⁷ The earth trembled at the presence of the Lord,

Ps 113:7

⁸ Who turned the rock into pools of water,

Ps 113:8

⁹ Not to us, O Lord, not to us,

Ps 113:9

¹⁰ Lest at any time the nations should say,

Ps 113:10

¹¹ But our God has done in heaven and on earth,

Ps 113:11

¹² The idols of the nations are silver and gold,

Ps 113:12

¹³ They have a mouth, but they cannot speak;

Ps 113:13

¹⁴ They have ears, but they cannot hear;

Ps 113:14

¹⁵ They have hands, but they cannot handle;

Ps 113:15

¹⁶ Let those that make them become like to them,

Ps 113:16

¹⁷ The house of Israel trusts in the Lord:

Ps 113:17

¹⁸ The house of Aaron trusts in the Lord:

Ps 113:18

¹⁹ They that fear the Lord trust in the Lord:

Ps 113:19

²⁰ The Lord has remembered us, and blessed us:

Ps 113:20

²¹ He has blessed them that fear the Lord,

Ps 113:21

²² The Lord add [blessings]

Ps 113:22

²³ Blessed are ye of the Lord,

Ps 113:23

²⁴ The heaven of heavens [belongs] to the Lord:

Ps 113:24

²⁵ The dead shall not praise thee, O Lord,

Ps 113:25

²⁶ But we, the living, will bless the Lord,

Ps 113:26
