Chapter 27

¹ [A Psalm] of David.

Ps 27:1

² Hearken to the voice of my supplication, when I pray to thee,

Ps 27:2

³ Draw not away my soul with sinners,

Ps 27:3

⁴ Give them according to their works,

Ps 27:4

⁵ Because they have not attended to the works of the Lord,

Ps 27:5

⁶ Blessed be the Lord, for he has hearkened to the voice of my petition.

Ps 27:6

⁷ The Lord is my helper and my defender;

Ps 27:7

⁸ The Lord is the strength of his people,

Ps 27:8

⁹ Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance:
