Chapter 28

¹ A Psalm of David [on the occasion] of the solemn assembly of the Tabernacle.

Ps 28:1

² Bring to the Lord glory, [due] to his name;

Ps 28:2

³ The voice of the Lord is upon the waters:

Ps 28:3

⁴ The voice of the Lord is mighty;

Ps 28:4

⁵ [There is] the voice of the Lord who breaks the cedars;

Ps 28:5

⁶ And he will beat them small, [even] Lebanon itself, like a calf;

Ps 28:6

⁷ [There is] a voice of the Lord who divides a flame of fire.

Ps 28:7

⁸ A voice of the Lord who shakes the wilderness;

Ps 28:8

⁹ The voice of the Lord strengthens the hinds,

Ps 28:9

¹⁰ The Lord will dwell on the waterflood:

Ps 28:10

¹¹ The Lord will give strength to his people;
