¹ For the end, a Psalm of David for Jeduthun.

Ps 61:2

² Shall not my soul be subjected to God?

Ps 61:3

³ For he is my God and my Savior;

Ps 61:4

⁴ How long will ye assault a man?

Ps 61:4

Ps 61:5

⁵ They only took counsel to set at nought mine honor:

⁶ Nevertheless do thou, my soul, be subjected to God;

Ps 61:7

⁷ For he [is] my God and my Savior;

⁸ In God [is] my salvation and my glory:

Ps 61:9

⁹ Hope in him, all ye congregation of the people;

Ps 61:10

¹⁰ But the sons of men are vain;

¹¹ Trust not in unrighteousness,

Ps 61:12

¹² God has spoken once, [and] I have heard these two things,

¹³ and mercy is thine, O Lord;
