Chapter 93

Psalms · King David

¹ A Psalm of David for the fourth [day] of the week.

Ps 93:1

² Be thou exalted, thou that judgest the earth:

Ps 93:2

³ How long shall sinners, O Lord,

Ps 93:3

⁴ They will utter and speak unrighteousness;

Ps 93:4

⁵ They have afflicted thy people, O Lord,

Ps 93:5

⁶ They have slain the widow and fatherless,

Ps 93:6

⁷ And they said, The Lord shall not see,

Ps 93:7

⁸ Understand now, ye simple among the people;

Ps 93:8

⁹ He that planted the ear, does he not hear?

Ps 93:9

¹⁰ He that chastises the heathen, shall not he punish,

Ps 93:10

¹¹ The Lord knows the thoughts of men, that they are vain.

Ps 93:11

¹² Blessed is the man whomsoever thou shalt chasten, O Lord,

Ps 93:12

¹³ To give him rest from evil days,

Ps 93:13

¹⁴ For the Lord will not cast off his people,

Ps 93:14

¹⁵ Until righteousness return to judgment,

Ps 93:15

¹⁶ Who will rise up for me against the transgressors?

Ps 93:16

¹⁷ If the Lord had not helped me,

Ps 93:17

¹⁸ If I said, My foot has been moved;

Ps 93:18

¹⁹ Thy mercy, O Lord, helped me.

Ps 93:19

²⁰ Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee,

Ps 93:20

²¹ They will hunt for the soul of the righteous,

Ps 93:21

²² But the Lord was my refuge;

Ps 93:22

²³ And he will recompense to them their iniquity and their wickedness:
