Chapter 11

¹ For the end, a Psalm of David, upon the eighth.

Ps 11:1

² Save me, O Lord; for the godly man has failed;

Ps 11:2

³ Every one has spoken vanity to his neighbor:

Ps 11:3

⁴ Let the Lord destroy all the deceitful lips,

Ps 11:4

⁵ Who have said, We will magnify our tongue;

Ps 11:5

⁶ Because of the misery of the poor,

Ps 11:6

⁷ The oracles of the Lord are pure oracles;

Ps 11:7

⁸ Thou, O Lord, shalt keep us,

Ps 11:8

⁹ The ungodly walk around:
