¹ Praise of a Song, by David.

Ps 90:1

² He shall say to the Lord, Thou art my helper and my refuge:

Ps 90:2

³ For he shall deliver thee from the snare of the hunters,

Ps 90:3

⁴ He shall overshadow thee with his shoulders,

Ps 90:4

⁵ Thou shalt not be afraid of terror by night;

Ps 90:5

⁶ [Nor] of the [evil] thing that walks in darkness;

Ps 90:6

⁷ A thousand shall fall at thy side,

Ps 90:7

⁸ Only with thine eyes shalt thou observe

Ps 90:8

⁹ For thou, O Lord, art my hope:

Ps 90:9

¹⁰ No evils shall come upon thee,

Ps 90:10

¹¹ For he shall give his angels charge concerning thee,

Ps 90:11

¹² They shall bear thee up on their hands,

Ps 90:12

¹³ Thou shalt tread on the asp and basilisk:

Ps 90:13

¹⁴ For he has hoped in me, and I will deliver him:

Ps 90:14

¹⁵ He shall call upon me, and I will hearken to him:

Ps 90:15

¹⁶ I will satisfy him with length of days,
