Chapter 91

¹ A Psalm of a Song for the Sabbath day.

Ps 91:1

² It is a good thing to give thanks to the Lord,

Ps 91:2

³ To proclaim thy mercy in the morning,

Ps 91:3

⁴ On a psaltery of ten strings, with a song on the harp.

Ps 91:4

⁵ For thou, O Lord, hast made me glad with thy work:

Ps 91:5

⁶ How have thy works been magnified, O Lord!

Ps 91:6

⁷ A foolish man will not know,

Ps 91:7

⁸ When the sinners spring up as the grass,

Ps 91:8

⁹ But thou, O Lord, art most high forever.

Ps 91:9

¹⁰ For, behold, thine enemies shall perish;

Ps 91:10

¹¹ But my horn shall be exalted as [the horn] of a unicorn;

Ps 91:11

¹² And mine eye has seen mine enemies,

Ps 91:12

¹³ The righteous shall flourish as a palm tree:

Ps 91:13

¹⁴ They that are planted in the house of the Lord

Ps 91:14

¹⁵ Then shall they be increased in a fine old age;

Ps 91:15

¹⁶ that the Lord my God is righteous,
