¹ For the end, for Jeduthun, a Psalm of Asaph.

Ps 76:1

² I cried to the Lord with my voice,

Ps 76:2

³ In the day of mine affliction I earnestly sought the Lord;

Ps 76:3

⁴ I remembered God, and rejoiced;

Ps 76:4

⁵ All mine enemies set a watch [against me]:

Ps 76:5

⁶ I considered the days of old,

Ps 76:6

⁷ And I meditated; I communed with my heart by night,

Ps 76:7

⁸ Will the Lord cast off forever?

Ps 76:8

⁹ Will he cut off his mercy forever,

Ps 76:9

¹⁰ Will God forget to pity?

Ps 76:10

¹¹ And I said, Now I have begun;

Ps 76:11

¹² I remembered the works of the Lord;

Ps 76:12

¹³ And I will meditate on all thy works,

Ps 76:13

¹⁴ O God, thy way is in the sanctuary;

Ps 76:14

¹⁵ Thou art the God that doest wonders;

Ps 76:15

¹⁶ Thou hast with thine arm redeemed thy people,

Ps 76:16

¹⁷ The waters saw thee, O God,

Ps 76:17

¹⁸ [There was] an abundant sound of waters:

Ps 76:18

¹⁹ The voice of thy thunder was abroad,

Ps 76:19

²⁰ Thy way is in the sea,

Ps 76:20

²¹ Thou didst guide thy people as sheep
